Grammy Awards Red Carpet Round Up

Last year at the Grammy’s we swore that we would never see a more stunning red carpet look than Rihanna’s in that unbelievable custom Azzedine Alaïa gown. She set the fashion bar high but nevertheless, here are our Top 5 red carpet looks from 2014 that came pretty darn close in the Red Carpet 101 Grammy Awards Red Carpet Round Up.

#5: Daft Punk. Our favorite French duo was on point in their head-to-toe Saint Laurent ensembles.  Of course we love those perfect bow-ties, and obviously we die for the Saint Laurent jodhpur boots in the silvery glitter leather (do those come in women’s sizes, they’re kind of a must have), but more importantly they rocked their silver and gold helmets just as we hoped they would! Well done, guys.

#4: Ciara. Talk about a pregnancy glow! Our favorite mama-to-be looked phenomenal in her custom Emilio Pucci gown. You already know that metallic are one of our favorite trends this season, so we are all about this bronze sequined and beaded dress. Ciara styled it to perfection with dewy makeup, nude lips and a slightly messy pulled-back ‘do.

#3: Beyonce. Ok ok, so technically she didn’t rock this on the red carpet, but we can’t have a Top 5 Grammy’s list without including Queen Bey! That would just be wrong. Plus, she looked fantastic in this Michael Costello embroidered gown. Her body is banging, the dark lips are so hot, and those Lorraine Schwartz jewels are pretty spectacular. And did you see her performance? We can’t.

#2: Chrissy Teigen. John Legend’s wife seriously stole the show in this unbelievably Johanna Johnson gown. Everything about this dress is perfection, plus with Neil Lane earrings, Casadei heels, and a Kotur clutch, does it get any better?

And PS – if you don’t follow her on Instagram, grab your phone now and do yourself a favor. You can thank us later.

#1: Taylor Swift.  Who would have thought? Sure, she’s a great dresser but Taylor typically sticks to the same styles and rarely breaks out of her comfort zone. She played it safe yet again in this Gucci Première gown, but it really paid off because she looked incredible. The short-sleeve fitted gown with crystal mesh and gemstone detailing was absolutely stunning, and with a silver smoky eye and effortless ponytail, we’re in love.
