Harlem’s Fashion Row Takes LA with Inaugural Fashion Show

Harlem’s Fashion Row presented Style Beat, its first LA runway show during Grammy Weekend. CEO and Founder, Brandice Henderson-Daniel created the first HFR events in Harlem seven years ago. Today, her vision to bring diversity to the fashion industry is strong and successful as ever.

Style Beat‘s runway showcased the collections of four multi-cultural designers- Kevan Hall, Waraire Boswell, Joseph Bethune, and Project Runway finalist Kimberly Goldson. HFR also invited Red Carpet 101 to their exclusive Pre Grammy Brunch, which brought together the Style Beat designers, industry tastemakers, and creatives.

Harlem’s Fashion Row teamed up with Prudential to curate a gorgeous environment at The Grafton hotel in West Hollywood. The intimate atmosphere was the perfect place for inspiration and empowering conversations. During a three-course brunch at Oliver’s Prime, Henderson-Daniel moderated a discussion with the HFR designers about their business experiences and the colorful future of fashion.
