Screen Actors Guild Awards Gala

Time Inc.’s PEOPLE and the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) co-hosted the official Screen Actors Guild Awards® Gala immediately following the 23rd Annual SAG Awards® on a transformed Shrine Auditorium stage. This marked the 21st year that PEOPLE, Entertainment Industry Foundation and the SAG Awards have united on the Post-Awards gala, honoring the charitable efforts of actors in their communities and making an annual commitment to support the SAG-AFTRA Foundation.

Attendees included the SAG Award-winning casts from Hidden Figures (Aldis Hodge, Glen Powell, Janelle Monáe, Jim Parsons, Kirsten Dunst, Octavia Spencer, Saniyya Sidney and Taraji P. Henson,), Stranger Things (Caleb McLaughlin, Charlie Heaton, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Joe Keery, Millie Bobby Brown, Natalia Dyer and Noah Schnapp), Orange is the New Black(Danielle Brooks, Diane Guerrero, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Jackie Cruz, Jessica Pimentel, Lea DeLaria, Samira Wiley, Taylor Schilling and Uzo Aduba), along with SAG Award winners Bryan Cranston, Claire Foy, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Sarah Paulson, Viola Davis and the 2017 SAG Life Achievement Award recipient Lily Tomlin. For the Post-Awards Gala, the Shrine Auditorium stage was transformed into a Parisian street with towering facades of cafes and bistros, a department store, a large park-like fountain, tree-lined streets, and lush furnishings. Guests enjoyed a Parisian-inspired menu created by Wolfgang Puck, wines by Sterling Vineyards, Champagne Taittinger, Chopin Vodka and Clase Azul Tequila, FIJI Water, plus entertainment by DJ Michelle Pesce. For the ninth consecutive year, the Gala was produced and designed by Tony Schubert of Event Eleven.

As the exclusive beauty sponsor (excluding fragrance) of the SAG Awards ceremony and Post-Awards Gala, L’Oréal Paris treated guests to makeup touch-ups and the opportunity to sample the company’s latest products. Dunkin’ Donuts, the exclusive coffee provider for the Gala, offered specially craft beverages, fresh brewed coffee and Munchkins®.
